Jagaratha Samithi (Vigilance Committee)Panchayat President (Chairperson)
Members: ICDS Supervisor (Convenor), elected women ward members, local Police representatives, and legal volunteers.
Acts as a local community safeguard framework to prevent atrocities against women and children. It registers grievances related to domestic violence, dowry harassment, cyber/physical exploitation, and coordinates mediation, psychological counseling, and legal assistance channels.
Tree CommitteePanchayat President / Development Chairperson
Members: Social Forestry/Forest Range Officers, Assistant Engineer, and civil society environmentalists.
Oversees the ecological maintenance of trees planted on public roads, communal property, and shared grounds. Evaluates and issues official clearance permits for pruning or removing old, hazardous timber while monitoring mandatory localized compensatory afforestation programs.
Traffic Regulatory CommitteePanchayat President (Chairperson)
Members: Station House Officer (SHO), Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) inspector, PWD/LSGD Engineers, and merchants union leads.
Optimizes regional transport flow and civilian transit safety, particularly near commercial segments like Koppam Town. Manages vehicle parking allocations, establishes authorized auto-taxi pickup stands, coordinates signage layout adjustments, and manages encroachments along local thoroughfares.
Asset Maintenance CommitteeAssistant Engineer / Ward Representative
Members: Sectoral field overseers, community user group leaders.
Monitors and evaluates physical asset deprecation under Panchayat ownership. Identifies immediate structural restoration repairs for public water lines, solar installations, community wells, street lighting arrays, and institutional buildings to optimize resource longevity.
Note: Functional committees are legally bound to periodically file their evaluations and project validations through the Panchayat Secretary to obtain valid structural allocations from the main board council.
